  • What year of Escort GT Master Cylinder

Search function failed me again. Wagging its finger at me for searching for 3 words in quotes that I know have been uttered on this forum. Say "Escort Master Cylinder" is too long and I need to shorten it. :cussing:

    Oh well.

My question though is what year of Escort GT to use a Master Cylinder from? I assume the Mid 90s ones.
When I popped in 93 as the first year of the BP Escort GTs, it gives two different parts, one for cars built up to 11/1/92, and cars built from that point.

So what year range do I need?
1991 Ford Festiva BP (Full Aspire/Rio Swap) (337k Miles) (Around 95k Engine)
2002 Chevy Cavalier LS Sport 2.2L DOHC Ecotec (Threw a Rod)
    1998 Chevy Monte Carlo LS 3.1 V6 (225k miles) Best MPG = 28

If you have the Festy Master Cylinder on now, the '94 Escort or Gt master cylinder will fit.
Get the one with out the hydrolic clutch fitting.
If it don't fit, use a bigger hammer!
