I've seen some members on here that have these rims but use 185/45r15s. My question is would I be able to use 165/45r15s with these rims, because I have found a set for a third of the price. I'm not so knowledgeable in tires and rims. Thanks.

Your speedo will be fast with the 165-45-15's. I have them on my 92 BP car. No clearance issues.Jerry

Here is what 165 45 15" tires look like on 15x6 Mitsubishi Lancer O.Z. wheels on a stock festiva. I recommend 1/4" spacers and at least screw in wheel studs.
These tires will fit wheels from 5" in width to 8" inches (8" is a substantial stretch). Personally, I think 7.5" wide wheels suit these tires the best. The O.Z. wheels with these tires is a great way to not only dress up your car, but you'll feel an improvement in braking, acceleration and cornering. The ride will feel stiffer and you'll get more road noise than with the stock wheel/tire combo.Last edited by Advancedynamix; 01-02-2015, 11:59 AM.Driving for me is neither a right nor a privilege. Driving is my passion, as it was for the people who invented the automobile, the people who paved the first roads and the people who continue to improve the automobile. Please respect this passion.
