  • Alignement Specs

I'll be taking my car in real soon for an alignment. I have the FMS springs, aspire spindles, KYB GR2 struts. Do I just use the stock alignement specs for my car or should I be using something different?

The reason I ask is when I did the front end of my 68 mustang I used different than factory specs due to the a-arm relocation and drop springs.

With that A-arm conversion, you most likely would have altered the original suspension geometry which would have necessitated the different alignment specs. Since you didn't really alter the geometry on the Festiva, you would want to use the factory specs (which the alignment shop will have stored in their alignment computer). Or you can use different specs for better handling, but with a twist beam rear axle, that may not be of any benefit.
