Question about a set if rims

I have them on non-hubcentric spacers so I'm not sure. I'm pretty sure the center bore is larger than the festiva hub.

do the acura legend wheels have any issues with center bore, I really like them and imagine they aren't hard to find

Escort/Tempo wheels in the top pic, they won't fit without suspension mods and adapters. The bottom pic is Acura Legend wheels, they should fit with no mods.

I like those rims a lot, what are they off of? And thanks for the detailed posts/pictures. Helping me make my mind up!

Like Will said, lots of inexpensive OEM wheels to choose from and the Achilles tires are hard to beat for their price, performance, and durability. They're around $200 shipped, can last 30K miles easily, and they do well autocrossing with the right suspension setup.
I had them on my '88 until I went with 15's so I could use stickier Nankang NS-2R tires.
If you want to go with 15's then 165/50's are the size you want. Either tire size will be pretty much the same overall diameter as the stock tire size so the speedometer and odometer will read correctly.

With 8" wide rims, the car will feel like poop well before the chassis gets even close to your limits, let alone the car's limits.

165/55R14 looks great for a tire-to-wheel ratio. Also, the Nankang ATR-K in that size provides great performance for an even better price.
14x6 is also very common to find as an OEM alloy from other manufacturers

That is exactly what I needed to know! Ill be on the hunt for 6 inch with then. Why do you suggest 14s over 13s ?

Depends on what you mean by "fit". They'll stick out of the fenders, a lot, like two inches. If they rub or not depends on your tire size and if you carry any weight or passengers. It'll still look strange with the tires sticking out so far.
I suggest 14x5.5 or 14x6", around 35mm offset with Achilles 165/55-14 tires.
It'll look about like this with the wheels you posted.
