  • I CANT HOLD IT ANY LONGER!

Can any one help me figure out why my emergency break isn't holding very well. It will hold the car just barely hold the car on a hill. Ive adjusted the cable inside and it helped a little but it doesn't hold enough

Have you ever had your drums off? The adjusters inside the rear drum are probably frozen up or rusted to where they aren't working properly.

It's the levers in the drum that the park brake cables attach to. Take them out and get them moving again. They are probably frozen.

there are NO, repeat, NO adjusters on the drum assembly. once the cable is stretched too far, you need to get a new cable.
