  • Brake Bleeding solution

    Guys,

While searching on the web I found this:

VW/Volkswagen Parts, Audi Parts. Replacement parts, performance vw parts, performance Audi parts, Exhaust System, Air Intake, Cold air intake, ECU, Suspension, Maintenan

Tell me what you think..... Could take some of the pain out of bleeding the brake system.

I used one with the same concept in the military. Works very well.

Here's a cheap home made version:

I have all the pieces to make one, just never got around to it. I have a vacuum bleeder that I like using.

    BP Festiva http://www.cardomain.com/ride/723319 - SOLD
    BPT Festiva www.cardomain.com/ride/2260009 - SOLD
    BPT GTX www.cardomain.com/ride/2436495 - SOLD

yeah, mine's a little different. I used an old Festiva MCR cap and drilled a hole in it and added a piece of 1/4" tubing so it can draw fluid.

I made a vacuum pump out of old fridge compressor.. and used a 2l bottle with 2 1/4" tubes going into the top. 1 hooks to the vacuum pump positioned at the top of the bottle so it only sucks air and the other goes to the bottom of the bottle and hooks to the bleeder screw.. works perfectly..

People that have done this pressure bleeder solution - how did you seal the MC cap so it would hold pressure.

I have one built but every time I put pressure on it, it just leaks out through the gaps in the threaded part of the cap. I tried three different gasket/o-ring solutions and none of them work at all.

        Any ideas???
