I've seen someone with 16's on theirs, not sure on the tires tho. Fit with a little bit of rubbing.
I've got a set of 15x7's on ym car at home, but it's not lowered to see what/if it will rub and they are running 195/50 tires (I'll be downsizing to 195/45's). From what I can see, it doesn't look like it'll rub.

how was your set up? did you have all 4 wheels on separate air lines or just a front- back setup? I'm reallying thinking about it, roads around here suck a$$ tons of potholes and extreme drop offs. i love the low look, but in my cougar I've had alot of scraping...

I had a FBSS setup, each corner could be controlled on it's own.
My area is pretty much the same, horrible roads (potholes, drop offs, etc) and I hated it. I hated the daily drive in the car. It was stiff but bouncy, I guess if you could get it set JUST perfect, you may be alright... But it was far and few between for me.
I've seen 3 people who ran air on show competition cars (I mean, high show competition - tv's molded into the outside of the hatch, CF roofs, etc) and they all removed the air after one season; they all went to coilovers instead.
I've been pretty busy with life lately, but I am like a turtle, slowly but surely. Got my act clutch in last Friday, so I plan on getting back on it soon. Although I have to be gone to Oklahoma city from July to September on some job related issues, still in hopes to have it running by summer or fall for sure. Sorry guys. I want it as bad as the next. just be patient, I promise!
