I'm just waiting on the damn mail to come with my new lower control arms for the festy and i got to thinking can i use the swaybar from my aspire part car inplace of the smaller festy one???

well i was asking if it does fit, cause i know you have to swap it with the aspire swap right? and i figured if i'm taking out the lower control arms its already unbolted

So you are asking if the aspire front lower swaybar bolts up to the festy control arms?
The rear sway bar is integrated into the rear axle beam. I think that is what you meant, if not inform me/us.
I dunno since the aspire control arms are longer but as 25Horseplay said check it out, it would be nice to know.

Best case scenario is that it fits and you get even worse understeer from it. Unless the back end is stepping out in corners you really don't need to stiffen up the front sway bar.

Unless you are experimenting with a full Aspire front end, I'd stick with the Festiva control arms and stabilizer bar. One guy from long ago used all the Aspire parts and said it wasn't worth it, even though he got a wider front end track.

Use only the Aspire hub/knuckles, rotors, calipers, and tie rod ends.

You may use the Aspire struts and you can cut the Aspire springs one coil to approximate stock ride height. You can also substitute the much cheaper Escort tie rod ends (about '91 through '95 model years should do) for the expensive Aspire ends.

If you use Aspire alloys, get longer wheel studs for them.

All of the above is based upon my two swaps and what I've read from others here.

Ox is right--the Festiva does not need more front roll stiffness. Using the Aspire rear axle with it's integral bar will improve your handling nicely by adding more rear roll stiffness.

After that, go adjustable with coilovers, etc.
