MINI cooper r82 wheels....

Hello i have finaly found all of the specs to the mini wheels that my buddy will give me for a hefty price.

so does anyone have a similar wheel size and is the centerbore right. also i read that 195/45/15 fit with no rub.. will this work on these tires.

Aspire is 54.1 mm centerbore. I take it you have the Aspire swap. You'll need some hubcentric rings, IMO.

Weight wise, my 13 X 5.5" VW alloys weighed 15 lbs each, so you are doing well there.

The 195/45 tires work well on Mazda 14 X 5.5" wheels, according to Matt, so you should be okay there. The offset, at 45mm, may be a problem, but you might be able to use some spacers. I don't know. I'd stick with offsets from 35 to 40mm.

I thought about buying some "new MINI" wheels before myself, but I didn't.

hey thanks i looked everywhere for a set of miata's but the only place that had them was a junkyard and they wanted 100 a piece. so i asked around and my buddy said he would sell me some mini cooper wheels if i took the old tires off and gave them back to him. 100 bucks for all four in perfect condition with center caps. i work at a dodge dealership so i can do the mounting and balancing myself. the old tires have 12\32nds on them and are 175\65\15 so i know they wont fit me so he can have them. ill go for it and let you all know how it turns out. the rims look shweeet!! yes i have the aspire swap and that worked out no problems thanks to all of the info on this site.

any way what is the prefered brand that everyone likes..
