15" seems to be the magic number, but with some fender modifaction along with wheel spacers you could fit 17's...Ian Carr
88' flat black festy, has an e-brake that works!
99' S70 T5M- faster DD
86' 951- almost ready for track season
My old b6t- wish i still had it

Every car I have owned has had a turbo in it, until I bought this latest festiva.. I plan to fix that though.

I'd like to see someone put 17-18's on there with a stock engine platform....talk about slooooow acceleration---------------------------------------------------

Even with a big engine swap, what is the point of going bigger than 14" or 15". The only real point of bigger diameter wheels is to clear bigger brakes.
You sacrifice handling and accelleration because of the higher weight associated with larger diameter wheels so going bigger than just big enough to clear your brakes is counter productive unless it's just a cosmetic thing, but even at that the big wheel look is getting played out.
I can maybe see going bigger than 14" for the increased selection of performance tires, but even at that there are plenty of good tires in 15"

You'd have to do some major modifications to clear a tire that big. At 15", Festiva's will experience tire rub with a 185, never mind a 225.
Besides crappy acceleration and handling, you can also say goodbye to stopping. All that extra mass and diameter will kill it.
Don't be a fashion queen. Get some wheels that will make the car accelerate and brake well.

Remeber if you get those wheels, with the small diameter rotors/pads on a festiva...your ferrari festiva will need brakes probably every 3 weeks. My advice get the LIGHTEST wheels you can get your hands on under a 14"
I'm running old school enkei Apache V's with the rivots removed 10.5 lbs each (it's a one piece) and sumitomo HTR200 175/50/13 14 lbs each. I couldn;t be happier, because I have one of the lightest combos on this board. 24.5lbs---------------------------------------------------

yeah your best bet would be 195/45/15 though in my opinion the 45 is a must because it wont clear the suspension components and such with a 50 and 195 is just better than a 185 and if the shoe fits! well good luck with whatever you chose to do and just curious of all cars why did you chose a ferrari to make look like a ferrari or have ferarri characteristics? its prolly the car farthest away from ferarri status lol
