  • Need suspension ideas.

Well I had planned to get Teins for my festiva but considering they are around 900 dollars and I only going to be using this car for quarter mile it doesnt make sense to put such a large dent in my wallet for fully adjustable suspension which I wont need. I am wondering what you guys have gone with and what has worked for you for quarter mile racing. I am looking at the KYB's right now because they seem to be the only other strut and look pretty legit but I wanna shop around for springs instead of getting fms ones.

I love my KYB's and FMS springs. Added with the 195/45/14's the BPT car handles great.

FMS is it. There have been a few threads on this and no one has ever found another supplier.

If your just dragging it why dont you use aspire springs fore the setup cut some links off of them.....put some kyb's on the front and say the hell with the rear ones. Just hard bar it and don't use a strut.

by the way there is a good selection of lowering springs in UK.....and have a buddy thats moving there at the end of this month. And that boys and girls, is how I'm gonna get my pride wing, tail lights, head light grill, and yes lowering springs 40mm drop i think Spax makes them, weirtech does also. You have to get a set from the DA chassis code 121's

I am looking at the fms aspire springs, if I got those and put them on the festiva struts would they work? I ask because they have to be alot stiffer ride than the festiva springs.

I just ordered some kyb super struts from sparkplugs.com and now I am going to look for some springs, its my understanding that the festiva struts will accept both aspire and festiva springs, if this is the case I will be buying the fms aspire springs probably if not I will go with the fms festiva springs.

sparkplug.com seems to only have the GR2s. They are only a tiny bit stiffer than stock. The superstruts are much stiffer than that.

I just looked, they call it there "super class" but it says GR2's. The super struts at FMS are imported, they aren't sold here in the US. They are orange in color.
