alright...for a new guy i ask a lot of big things...but lets see how much you all really care ( i mean seein's how none of you got me anything for christmas...or my birthday)...im in not dire need of...but am certainly curious of the following dimensions:
mastercylinder bores for the festiva and or preferrably escort gt
caliper bores front and rear for escort gt
pedal ratio for festi (distance pedal pivot to foot contact point/distance pedal pivot to master cyl pushrod point)

i could, myself gain access to many of the above measurements, but i figure if someone has access to them off hand the less emotional stress i have to endure working with my molten pile of escort rubble...the use of these details i surely will share...but will most likely be met with silent mocary by the polite peanut gallery...
but if you must know the numbers go to the noble cause of providing accurate brake calculations yeilding the pedal force necissary to lock the tires (in this case there are several possible varialbes...aspire or escort brakes...pads...and tire compounds)...although i cannot account for the aspire drum brakes...or for that matter any drum brakes...or the differences made by slotting or drilling rotors.

ive simply been bitten by the curiousity bug, and am just anxious to see the results...if anyone too shares my sentiment and would be happy to help...id be more than happy to hear about it.

(we all want to go fast...real fast...stupidly fast...but what happens once you get there...do you end up like me? with a sable parked inside your escort...and by the way...i wasnt speeding)
feels like the sky is gonna fall down and crush me
Working...
