I did just the front aspire brake swap and that alone it totally different. You stop so fast!!! Very worth the money and time, and it's so easy to do. You'll enjoy the brake swap alot.

I like it but for AutoX they seem too soft. I need a bigger rear beam even than the 12mm Aspire bar.. I'm working on designing another bigger stiffer bar to promote more oversteer in the car... -Kyle

Springs arrived yesterday,I am now charging my DeWalt impact gun to remove those axle bolts..I have my camera with me,I will take pictures of the process. The only bad is that the aspire swap is on the Festiva I bought from one of our members so there is not much help....I will try and finish the front today and rears tomorrow,I will be working on it after work!!!

do you think this would be a good set up for drag racing? or you think the coil over set up would be better? I know you care about how the car rides MEX but i just want the car to hook and not spin all 4 gears..

I think as far as keeping the weight from shifting the extremely hard coilover would/do keep the tires planted firmly on the ground.

It's horrible for drag racing... The springs are far too soft (for anything really) and allow too much weight transfer off the front wheels on a hard launch. The most effective thing I've ever done at the drag strip was to compress the rear suspension (have a few guys sit in the trunk) and then secure it in that position using a cargo tie-down. My 60' went from 2.2 to 1.9 from just that.

I will try them and let you guys know,First time to the track was on cut stock springs.if you check out the 12 second video you can see the car was to soft,we were getting 1.9 60 but launches werent rev that high.
Last time it was on the coilovers again check out my latest video to compare,On this one you can see the car is stiffer,This time it was launched @ 6k and got low 1.8 60 foot.I'm not sure what made the difference, the coils or the take off rpm's.I should be @ the track soon..I wish they do well.If not i'll keep the coilovers for the track,I was happy with them...........

I got the fms springs for this season until I can convert to omni power suspension next season, I did however get my springs for an aspire rather than a festiva because they are a bit stiffer to support a give or take 200 pound heavier vehicle, besides I'd rather have a really stiff ride than a really low car.

do you have any more info on the omni power suspension? i never heard fo it. i drove my car briefly last night at the body shop and its scary espically right now with the ground so cold and the torque steer. Fun but scarry
