  • aspire rear swap with wrong pattern W-T-F

Is there something I have missed???? JUst did my swap and the patern is wrong for my xr2 wheels, and still wrong for the festiva rims. Not sure the year aspire but it had airbags and 4drs that make any differance. This is a big letdown and took alot off work to get it done now it is not even working. Anyone that can help please chime on this.

i'm guessing u missed about a 100 posts that mention the different bolt pattern between the festy hubs/drums and the aspire. i just mounted an XR2 temp spare on my stock festy lawn ornament so the festy and XR2 bolt patterns are the same but the bolt pattern circle on your aspire drums are smaller i believe. your efforts are not in vain as u just need to get some aspire rims to get going

aspire are 4x100mm while the xr2, festiva, most older mazda's are 4x114.3mm.

Changed the bolt pattern. Miata rims fit good though

I thought the xr2 was 4x100. Guess I will have to figure out something probally go back and and get the aspire spindles from the junkyard. But I have to use the aspire tie rods, can the festy be used or spaced. Asking cause mine are brand new. o well back to the drawing boards.

I have the 2 steelies on the back just wanted the capri ones. I wil probally have to get some rotas or something wide enough to fit the 205's on the front. Like I said I will probally go back get the front spindles and rock some hub caps.

if you're going with 205s then make sure you get 13" wheels and not 14"... even my 13s still scrub a little with 205/60/13s whenever I hit a bump hard

I have 205/50/I5's up front now and plan to keep them that way. I think the look good with the car lowered a little. they seem they will rub a little when turned all the way but I will live with it.
