Aspire Swap Problem

I've done two swaps and I just used the Aspire axle mounts. On my second car (Luxstiva), I had one bolt on the left side spin freely, so I had to go in from the interior, dismantle the gas filler/vent pipes and punch a bigger hole in so I could get a socket on the spinning nut to take the old mount off. Sucked.

Use plenty of PB Blaster a week or two before you begin. On my next swap, I'm dismantling the filler pipe area and squirting a lot of PB down onto those bolt ends because I don't want to deal with this again!

The aspire lines have a shorter bend in the support pin that comes off of the banjo joint at the caliper. You can cut the pin off of festiva lines in an emergency and use them on the aspire calipers for a temporary fix. The banjo joint is the same.

On my front swap I used the Festiva brake hoses. All I had to do was put the pin from the Festiva hose just off to the side of the hole for it on the Aspire caliper. The way the caliper is designed it holds the pin in place and allowed me to get the bold in n problem. It wont wiggle arond or come loose this way. I hope you all understand what im trying to say. its kinda hard to put into words. Maybe I will take some pics if anyone wants

Yeah I think I know what you are saying Paul, I would apreciate a picture if you have the time and effort, if not thats also ok. Tell me if my assumption is right. The pin that comes off the brake hose and pops into the tiny hole on the caliper is there strictly to hold it in place and if the pin is not inside the hole than nothing will leak from the brakes correct? Thanks lol I know thats gotta be confusing to figure out what I am saying.

Yes the hole for the pin is just to locate the hose and keep the end of the hose from turning and letting anything loosen up. No fluid comes from the hole. If it ever stops raining here in WI I will get you a couple pics of how I have it done for now
