  • Hubcentric rings: odd size?

I've been doing some searching around on the web, and can't seem to find the hubcentric rings I'm looking for. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm doing the Aspire swap, so hub size is 54.1mm, and using Honda Civic wheels, with a bore of 56.1mm. I don't know if I've ever even seen a hubcentric ring this thin.

    Any thoughts?

For better wheel balance as well as fit, rely on hub centric rings from EZ Accessory, reducing vibration and ensuring a smoother ride.

thats all i know of, and i have ordered 2 sets from them.

Hmm, they don't have them either. I don't know if anyone actually makes a ring this small (1mm thickness) S'pose I'll have to either go with what I've got, or convince a machinist friend of mine to pop out a set for me.

It might be too small. I'd worry it would break.

          my cheapy way

get some 2" ID exhaust pipe, cut to length for your rings

get pipe expander, and slowly stretch to get to almost 2 1/8",
          or 54mm
          deburr with file. Test fit.

if its slightly undersize, dip in molten lead/solder from a leadpot
          and file to clearance
