  • 195/45R14 or 195/55R14

I am going to buy some tires for my corolla rims that are going on the festiva. I am also putting civic coilovers on it. will 195/55R14's fit? i think they look better on festivas than the 195/45R14's. let me know what you think.

    thanks

I have a set of of 15's with 50's and they look good, I also have a set of 45's waiting to go on. If I were you I would go with the 55's because of your smaller rim.

195/45/14's are the way to go. I have the same suspension setups and wheels on my BP and BPT cars. The only difference is the tires and it is quite a difference. Go with the 45's.

Sorry but different cars. In the US your car is an Aspire. 17's are too big for the US festivas.

a set of eunos roadster (jdm mazda miata) wheels just came up for sale here...hope i can get hold of it before someone else does. with the 195/45-14s, is that roughly the same diameter as the stock 165/65-13?

the 195/45r14 are just a litttle smaller diameter. Like .1% off.

Do any other tires but the toyo tr-1 come in 195/45/14? It's the only one I've been able to find.

I toyo is the only 195 45 I've ever seen.

I'd been running 185/60's on my miata wheels in the summer, but I think I'm going to go with 195/55 when I get new tires. Their a hair smaller in diameter, and should be about a perfect size for my tastes. 195 45's are just a little too short for me, and you can find 195 55's for around $60.
