You would have to redo the entire suspension and even then the angle on the axles would probably be too much for it to work.

Umm I doubt the festy has enough power to turn those rims. none the less fit in the wheel wells without tubing them out front & back.

dont waste your time with 22's, go 18's, on a car as small as a festiva they look like 22's, anything larger and your going to break parts that werent designed to have that much stress on them.

cut wheel wells into a more circular shape instead of flat at the top, and then clearance some of the wheel well area and youve got it i bet.

but 22's, there jsut quite simply isnt an effective way to lift a FWD vehicle like there is RWD to accomplish it

                You got to be kidding.
Sit the festiva body on a different chassie.

i was thinkin miata motor/ tranny /rearend setup... maybe a solid rearend out of like an old mg converted to a leaf spring setup...maybe build engine cradle cut floor out and hang a 2.3 l out of ford mustang? that deff turn 22's if not 24's... not looking for speed more for looks.. a laugh in the face to all these boys with lifted chevys and stuff...rollerskate themed ....

whatever floats your boat, and use a 2.3ltr turbo we just swapped one into my friends ranger and it could turn those tires no problem.
There is no replacement for displacement, except for the turbo in my basement.
