aspre brake swap e-brake???

is there a way to get my e-brake to work I have the used aspire cable but there's to much slack in it. would love an e-brake on this thing.

there is an adjustment at the handle to tighten the cable you can access it without taking the whole thing apart (there's a little piece that pops out in the console thing), if that's maxed out then chances are the rear brakes pads are shot, when i did my aspire swap i put all new brakes all the way around and my e-brake will easily lock up on dry pavement
