  • aspire front sway bar

    will this make my car get a little better traction? im looking for all that i can get. and if this will help how much a differance will it be? noticable or not really?

    its too wide.
    1992 Festiva... BP-T, Escort G5MR, no crossmember, aspire brakes, Megasquirt, Toyota COP's, coilovers and 6 puck SPEC clutch!

      oh.. hmmi thougth i read on here some where osme one said they used one.

        You can but you also need the Aspire control arms because they are longer as well... -Kyle

              ive talked to WTFman he helped we with my b6t swap he recomneded using the aspire swat bar as well its thicker he gave me some brackets he made too so you couled use the enegry suspension bushings, i dotn thinkhe was running aspire set up and he had a stock fest trans

                I am runnig stock lowwers, and it works fine for me. It did not look to wide at all.

                  my parts car has the aspire sway bar on it, i haven't looked at it enough to see if bolted on without modifying though

                    I would think that the best front bar mod for a Festiva would be a custom hollow bar of slightly larger diameter. This would stay about the same stiffness while being lighter by 3 to 6 pounds or so. You'd need custom body mounts for it.

                    Perhaps take a stock Festiva bar, cut off the ends and weld a hollow bar the same shape to connect them? Wonder how much that would cost?

                      Could you run the aspire sway bar, aspire control arms, and a BP/g25mr? Wouldn't the swap provide long enough axles so the wouldn't pop out?
