No helper spring on the wagons. Well with out damping control you probably wouldn't need it.

Looks good hows the ride? When you have a better chance to evaluate them with proper tires.

    Thanks

Exactly... I took it around town once since it was out of inspection and it's been parked. Plus with those tiny tires, I really won't know...

Soon (once I get the wheels figured out)

Now Simon has 2 choices, paint the green part orange or paint the orange part green
Is that a Festiva that just passed me?!?!?!

I'm going to leave them green I think. You can't REALLY see them from behind the wheels and brakes, so. Besides, if they are green, everyone will know they are Teins.

Fred - They aren't all the way down.

And if need be, I can always swap springs too... (which, there won't ever be a need until I lower it more at shows.)

You can still get the wagon series none damping control. 2-3 months to get from Japan.

                  Thanks
So are the TEINs pictured the HA's or the above mentioned "wagon series"? does anyone have any specific info on the wagon series coilovers i.e. part number, direct application (121 DW3W?), approximate cost, are they direct fit, spring rates? I have a friend with TEIN connections and might be able to secure a set "direct".

                  Thanks!

wow, those look badass dood! keep em clean!

i wish teins were made for my car...its surprisign they werent. My car can use the same struts as 90-94 323/protege and 91-04 escort/tracer/zx2.

you'd think tein would make em for at least one of these cars, but nope

Wil, have you read this month's GRM (June)??? It has a special blurb on MX-3's and how to modify them and some nicely modded ones featured as well... I can probably have a buddy scan it if you haven't read it/seen it already. Let me know. -Kyle

BTW Simon sorry for jacking your thread, the Tein setup makes me drool.. Looks awesome. Can't wait to see it with some wheels on it!

                              TEIN part #

Is this the correct part number for the TEIN TYPE WAGON DAMPER: DSM06-U1SS2 ?

I'm looking to order up a set of these and just want to double check that the part # I've found is the same as what you have mounted on your Festiva.

                              thanks for your help!

My car is at the shop right now with a blown engnie (until my engine mount comes in for the B6T)...

I'll let you know as soon as I pull a wheel off.
