  • "Grub" - the build thread

Grub is the car I put together about a year ago to take to Insanity 2018. I hadn't posted a build thread yet, but finally had time to compile some of the info. It's a pretty basic BP+G, coilovers, etc. with pictures of all my mounts, frame notching, and so forth. I put everything together in a .pdf, since hosting pictures and the forum haven't been real reliable lately, so this way I have one document that's easier to keep track of. If you have time to kill give it a read, it's mostly just pictures!

    Awesome Build Thread.

This gives me some insight on what it is going to take to throw a BP into the The Rusty Banana. Luckily I don't have to worry about moving the engine forward.

If you don't move the engine forward you'll have to box/bash the firewall (or use a turbo intake). Matt Swabb's original thread had good pictures of that setup.

Bashing that car will not be an issue. I still need to find a Manual Throttle Body though and finish my white car first.
