Track prepping my Festiva, thinking Sundae Cup (low budget fun)
Ive built and raced my coyote swapped foxbody mustang for years, thats gone. Now ive been tinkering with the Festiva. Ordered a bunch of parts from the store, ebay, local parts stores.
Festiva store: Brake booster, poly bushings for the control arms and front bar, shifter bushings, new brake/clutch pedal pads, new oil dip stick,
Installed MSD Digital 6AL box, MSD blaster 2 coil, MSD wires (off a ford raptor) new plugs, new O2 sensor, Just installed a felpro valve cover gasket yesterday, I have a 3 row civic aluminum radiator to get installed, Ive installed a no name amazon oil cooler with sandwhich plate, Steering wheel hub and NRG quick release, my OMP 350mm steering wheel (from the mustang) Kirkey seat is going in from the Mustang, I have the rear camber spacers for -3.5 camber that I need to install, Installed new control arms (ebay 38 bucks) with all the new poly bushings from the festiva store.
The car has the VW coilovers from the guide that the previous owner installed (I went to shorter stiffer springs) He also removed the cat and added a magnaflow muffler.
Cone air filter on the Vane, converting to MS2 removing Vane and going to MAP soon. I recently installed a 94-01 integra C pillar brace, shocked on the difference. Car has 195 Falken RT660 tires (Spec tire for GridLife Sundae cup) I still need to do front wheel bearings, axle seals and oil pan gasket. Id like to get my hands on the BPD baffled oil pan before I do the oil pan gasket.
I want to do the Kia Rio front stuff for the 4x100 lug pattern and RPF1 wheels.
End goal MS2 standalone, Coil on plug ignition with LS truck coils, more timing, dyno tuned (worked head) and ITB/s would be awesome. Going to be a fun street car that I can drive to the track for pennies on the dollar.
