LH, are you running a "pusher" type electric fan on your radiator?

I will be experimenting with an A/C fan for Twin's radiator. It's off an Aspire. Not sure if I'll have it "pushing" the air back or backwards wire it to pull like the stock fan.

Hey there all, The fan is set up to push the air through because there is no room at all for it to fit on the other side.

Here are some pics of the intake set up... Not the best but it works for now.

Excuse me for the somewhat stupid question, as I'm not really up to speed on your plans, but what exactly are your plans for you Festy project?

The original plan was to make it a racer for the strip but since then I have changed plans, I am shaving the handles, gas door if I can find a suitable replacement spot to fill the car, and the hatch, then it is being painted a white with a pile of pearl in it so it will really shimmer, kinda like a caddy white. Since I won't need door handles on the inside either I am going to make custom door panels, and if I can find a power window system that I can easily adapt I will be doing that as well, Other wise just tint some windows and drive it.

Nice! Thanks for the pics of the intake. Im working on a 90+ B6 (side intake) and i'm trying to figure out a way to rig up the intake. Is that a factory size battery? Looking at my car I cant believe there is room for a filter and the battery on that side. Do you remember what you got the intake duct out of? How well dose the pusher fan work? I like that idea (I dont have a fan right now... never had a prob with my B3 but my B6 heats up like nothing) Do you remember what it is out of? Also... Is it fine to use just a filter on the V/C breather like you have? I thought it had to be under vacuum.

Nice! If it can be of any help for you fuel door shaving, I saw something cool in a 4x4 mag a while ago; the guy shaved the fuel door and used an aluminum boat fuel neck and cap that he put behind the rear sidemarker, which he put hinges on so it swings out to give access to his fuel filler...Maybe you could do the same with the tail light? Anyways, here's the pic, hope it helps!

Pimptiva 3 had the fuel filler behind the drivers taillight, the taillight swings open like you describe, Gforcefd now owns the car

The fuel idea with the hinge is a great idea...

As for the intake I bought the filter and adapter off ebay it was for an escort gt I think but when it got here I needed to make a tin spacer for it because it was a round hole going over a square intake on the maf and it would have been sucking air through there.

The pusher fan seems to work but I don't know where it is from. I am going to try to maybe mount it different too. I don't know if I like it the way the previous owner has it mounted. I have lots of room between the bumper cover and fan so I should be able to change things up. Then again it works so maybe I will just leave it alone.

Well progress has been slow.... but I have new fenders for her now as well so that added some time as they need to be trimmed before jamming the insides...

This is as far as I have got so far... its amazing though how the camera makes the blue spots that didn't get fully covered with the black paint show up... in person it looks solid black... hmmm

And here are just a few more that are on the waiting list for upgrades/repairs....

                              this is winter festiva

This one is a rollover survivor... I even saved it from SGI so I can still plate it... maybe even chop it up and make me a convertable for the summer...

oh and I think I see one more in the yard?
