    minigun , parts arriving again...

    Finally, parts that I have been waiting for have arrived so I can start back to work. This weekend I ll mount the fuel rails, injectors and install the engine wring harness. I can now also button down the valve covers and set the timing belt. I made the last two parts for the clutch cable last nigh and just have to bolt them down and the shifter / clutch is completed. With all this done I can remount the tires and it will be a roller again

      Its been a long run, its coming up on two years since I got the stupid idea this would be a fun "quick" swap. What was going to be a beater with just a low milage SHO engine has changed paths more then once. Once again I was bitten by the "well this should claen up well with a little elbow grease and a few bucks".

      I ened up fabricating much more then I had plannned on. I ended up taking the best of the the 3.0 and 3.2 SHO engines to build one. It got into just about every "grope buy" on the SHO forum for cams, intake parts, pulleys, throttle bodies. Not much left stock on the engine or tranny.

      Once I started body work ( always the part I dreaded) It turned out not to bad, although I had to wait on other parts so I could once againget back to work on it. Now it looks like the mufflers will hide behind the bumper, good thing I waited on that.

      This week miniguns goes back inside. Im taking the little lady on vacation next week but should have internet so Ill drop by to see wahst going on.

      just a few shots of the work over the last year and a half for the new guys or the ones that forgot how this all got started,.
