  • miniguns cooling system updates....

After doing a bunch of searching for aftermarket radiators I found the one that fit best was the original Taurus SHO unit that went into the original shoguns..... oh well.

Im sure they used mild steel but Minigun is going to use 1.5" stainless tubing ( same size as the rad inlets/ outlets) from engine to rad with short rubber section do the final conections. The weather looks nice for the rest of the holidays so Im going to see if I can it all mocked up and hopefully finished.

yep, the hardest part was cutting the flanges, I had to do them by hand, cut the outline with a plasma tourch and drilled out the ports with hole saws on a drill press.

everything is looking sweet. when i saw those headers i thought you bought them they look pro. i have a suggestion tho i would plug the O2 bungs you have there with the threaded plugs and put some in the collector instead. that way if lets say one of your other two injectors get plugged or stuck it will show in the reading. otherwise you will only get a measurement from that one cylinder. it will work how it is but you really want to get a left and right bank average. compression and air flow can vary in each cylinder. i give you mad props looks sweet i wish i had a hook on that pretty stainless...

The 5 speed SHO used a non heated O2 sensors so I wanted the sensors close to the factory location (distance from the port ) as possible. The cats also have a o2 bung in them and will try it after the car is up and running.
