    Ive never heard that phrase before, had to go look it up. Thanks ! Hopefully it will run when Im finished. I found a really hard part to replace today, the boot that goes over the u joint and pinion on the rack and pinion. Any one ever replace one of these ? Its like pressed in between two sheet of metal up under the foot pedals. The one on this car had melted.

    That car is going to be beautiful when it is done. Well, since I'm already here and saw those pics of the calipers, does anyone know if there is a kit you can buy to get new retaining pins and wires for the calipers?

    Aspire front steering knuckle rebuild and brake swap. All new steering and suspension components.





    Found a new transaxle mount my other was busted.



    Starting to come along

    More pics, rebuilt front hubs, inner and outer wheel bearings, inner and outer grease seals, new rotors, new brake pads, about $125 per side. What other car can you rebuild for that kind of money ? National bearings, not the cheap made in China stuff. FMS steering and suspension parts. Trying to build in some quality. New struts, etc , etc. If a part is off the car it get cleaned, sanded , primed and painted. If I could just keep the work area clean.
