A little performance report. Every since Ive been driving a festiva ( its been awhile now ) when ever I get on the highway ( I-29 ) headed to work I alway go over the Hwy to get on the entrance ramp then I'll hit the entrance ramp fairly hard and try to accelerate to match speed with the traffic flow. Ive always had to nail the stock festiva to get up to speed as I have to enter the hwy going uphill. There is a 70 MPH speed limit sign about 150 yards pass the point where I enter the hwy. I always make a point to try and get up to 70 MPH by the time I get to that sign. The stock festiva will do it but you have to rev it to a little over 4000 in each gear. Today in the B6 car I reved to about the normal 4000 in each gear and I was going almost 85 by the time I passed the sign. No way the stock festiva will do that. I had the air conditioning on at the time too. Also Ive noticed that the head wind and uphill drags are gone and its possible to accelerate and pass someone. I meant to check gas mileage at my last fill up but even if its five miles per gallon less its well worth it. My guess is the mileage isnt hurting that much. The b6 should have at least been an option on these cars.

People are sheep. They need brand names to feel validated. Materialism at it's finest.

Ya once you show them whats up they might give a little respect but most just see a stupid Festiva. Not that I realy care what they see.

^^ Not true. Just by me bringing Red to work i managed to get three people into festivas....2 of them already purchasing multiple festivas.

Be glad festivas are different, and not your cookie-cutter honduh. I'll give more respect to a person with a b6 festiva over any swapped honda d-b-k series.

Even when its fast you wont get any respect. I was downtown the other night hanging out with a bunch of Honda guys and a friend pulled up in another Festiva. I hear someone in the croud say "whats with all the stuped Festivas" I just laughed.

the only thing that people notice about mine is the light rack lol... maby when i can beat my friend in a burn-out then it will get some respect and thats a hard thing to do... a b6t with lots of mods should do it

Just the wire harness swap took me most of a day, probably a good eight hours working by myself.

Here is the link to the wire harness swap. The wire harness swap was just the beginning to correcting the damage from the fire. Everything on the drivers side of the engine bay had to be replaced.
