Horn kit! Tastefully done with generic parts. Did you use double-sided tape on the pedals? If not, I'd HIGHLY reccomend it, even if you torqued the bolts.

(Resurrection!!!!)
Hey Josh, nice looking Festi, mate! I like what you've brought her up to! Especially like the leather knob much better than the t-knob. I am going to paint my console like you have done as well so it was good to get an indication of what it would look like!
Have you done any more to it?Kirbs

Finally an update!!!
I've been working on this in school everyday almost now for the last week, and everyone is always telling me I'm wasting my time putting time into this little car, so I need some good feedback now finally!
Here's just an overview pic of the car, once the weather warms up i'm planning on painting the front rim black.
just a pic of the studs
put in a sweet radio i got at best buy for 56 bucks!
new grant challenger steering wheel, the only thing i hate about it, it's so close to the blinker stalk
and today i put in a short shifter!! it feels so awesome, i love it!

About time for an update. I was afraid you had gone Honda, or something.:p
Kidding. Looking good. Keep at it. And don't worry about what other people say. Heck, if you did that, you probably wouldn't be driving a Festiva in the first place.
Liking the shifter. And I see what you mean about the wiper stalk and the steering wheel. The aftermarket wheel that was on my 89 was close, but not that close. You sound like me, waiting for the weather to break, so you can get at it.

Is there a way to push it out further? further away from the stalks?-Josh R

^ Without looking at the specific wheel that you've got, can't say for sure. But I imagine there has to be some sort of adapter kit that would bring it out some. I only drove mine with the aftermarket wheel for a day or two, before I got a Festiva wheel at a j/y and swapped them out.
I'm assuming by now that lanemeyer has that wheel. I sent it his way after Madness, just not sure he's ever gone and picked it up.

The older wiper stalks had a slightly different angle to them.-Greg
