  • My new festy build thread

    Yesterday, Monday, June 15, 2009, I got myself a 1991 white GL

I will post pics later tonight, once I find the camera cord.
But, I bought the car for $500, brought it home, and put 88LX power mirrors on it, and then a 90LX tach cluster. I want to do some more to it soon, but I have to sell some of my other festy stuff that is useless to me. I really enjoy this car

          Thanks guys!
Here are the pics. It's a little rusty, but a LOT better than my aspire. Hopefully I'll find a good white hood for it soon, this one is pretty bad.

First are the pics of it on the trailer that the guy we bought it from had it on.

A pic of my dad driving the aspire on the freeway

          The car is now home

And a pic of it next to my dad's friend's 2003 F-350, and with the power mirrors on.

Congrats Josh!!!!!!!! on getting that white Festiva.

I like yellow Festivas and White Festivas followed by a rare Black one.

Still don't have the Black one.

            Thanks for all the pictures.

            Sure like your dad's truck.

Thanks Dean! I would rather have a yellow one than white, but I like the white also. Yes, that is a nice truck, but it's my dad's Friends, not my dad's.

Now go take those brakes off that aspire, and put them on the Festiva!

If shipping wouldn't be just stupidly expensive, I know where you could get a white hood that looks almost showroom clean.

                        Nice Score, BTW.

Thanks for the offer batstiva, but I want to keep this a cheap as possible, so I'll be trying to find a good cheap one in the junkyard.

Went out and only had time to paint one rim/lugnuts.
                          Brakes don't look bad.

                          Started with this...

                          and got this...

                          Noticed one rim was bronze.
