  • You read my mind Fred!! I'm not sure if I wanna put the seats in my car yet or not, I mean, they'd be nice, but I also kinda wanna just sell them to get some money back right away.

Mike, I can't start the swap yet, I have to get my dad's blue festy going, so I can drive that while my white one is being swapped, I'm guessing 2-3 days in school (3 hours a day) should be able to get that car going, then I'll drive the capri into school and start tearing the motor out.

    • I love those seats. Please put 'em in your car! With the power you'll have in that car after the swap, you'll need 'em! They won't flow with the back seat, but you don't NEED a back seat, do you? I mean, you could uh, fill it with subwoofers... Hehehehehe

              • you get what you pay for.... and if you spend all that money on mechining the parts and put junk gaskets in and overheat it cause of a bad head gasket and warp the head your gonna be mad... if it where my car i would get a good gasket set like felpro or somthing...

                • Just make sure you're getting the right re-enforcement on your parts...Don't want to see you injured by flying pistons either...

And a capri for 450 bucks? I am so jealous!!

                  • Alright, so my dad has talked me into driving the capri for the summer, but my white car is now parked with no insurance, so the motor will be comming out of there first. Before I parked the car tho, I painted the mirror and put a couple stickers on the windows, I really like the looks of the mirror white.

                              • I'm drivin the ol' girl again!! but with stock motor..

I couldn't get the blue car to run properly, and I got sick of driving the capri, so I went back to this one, I'll tear the motor out of the capri this winter and rebuild it.
Did a lot of work on the car today.

-Painted all rims black again, a lot of chips in them
-Painted the passenger mirror to have matching "zebra" mirrors
-Put new brake pads on both sides
-Then gave her a big bath and tried shining the paint as much as possible.

Anyway, this is what she looks like now! I think a beauty

I'm also going to be entering it into a Car Craft car show this weekend, 3 day event at the state fairgrounds!! soo excited!
