I was able to get a little bit of work done today. The power mirrors are all painted and mounted up, my capri wheels are done being painted, I pulled my front bumper and primed it to be painted to match to rest of the car, I trimmed the transmission mount (not sure if I trimmed enough), and ordered a clutch alignment tool.

There is still a lot of things that need to be done, but I am at least making some progress. I will try to take a few pictures and put them up tomorrow.

Anyone know where to get spacers from? I was looking a few days ago and had trouble finding what I need. I also want to get rid of the bolts, and put studs in......thanks for the help as always.

Here is the adapter plate from CWS and how I cut the stock mount to be able to fit the B6T.

These are a little hard to see, but this is how much I cut off the oil pan, hopefully I won't have to come back and do a lot more trimming

Sorry about the two pictures a time thing.....I can't figure out how to post more than two without using an image hosting site

Here is the spray paint I got....I think that it is pretty close to the original color....they even have the same name (Cayman Green).....and the bumper primed and ready for paint.

Here are the two radiators side by side......just don't see that big of a difference.....I am thinking about taking the civic radiator back. Has anyone tried using the stock radiator?

              Hope you enjoyed

the civic rad swap is only useful if you get the upgraded "racing" rads... like so:

these ones are the one people get.... they have like 4 cores in them and cool ALOT more than the factory ones

Well it has almost been 2 years since I started this thread, and about five years since I started working on this project and finally I get to post a picture of the motor sitting in the car.

Chris (Takeone51) was nice enough to come over so that I could lend him a hand while he worked on my car.....we had a good, fun, and pretty long day.

Here are some pictures to recap the day.

Chris put the new clutch, flywheel, and pressure plate on, while I tried to undo the shift linkage and tranny mounts so that we could pull it out

Here is the tranny after we cleaned it......we used a lot of brake cleaner......now there is a big dead spot in the grass next to the garage

And.......the motor all bolted up and ready to be wired......Hallelujah! I can't wait until the rest is done and I can actually drive it.

Hopefully it won't be long until I can post a video of it running!
