  • sasquatch's b6t swap build thread

ok first off is the motor/trans mounts... i went and got some trans mounts for a chevy c10 truck and modded them to work for my car... it took alot of fab work but i think it will be worth it when its done... (ill say once i get the car running and driving) here are the motor mounts i made...

here is how much room i have on the passengers side... i found out that my b6t came with a under drive pully so i kind of wanted to use that... it does have the extra pully grove but what ever...

i had to dent the rad a bit to make the turbo clear it cause i got the motor so far pushed to the drivers side...

and i tried to get it as close to thye fire wall as i could... i think i did good

to get it that far over i had to cut the frame up a bit and weld in some extra metal...

how close i got it to the steering rack...

and how the motor sits in the car right now... looks good dosnt it

next will be the intercooler piping, shifter, other bits and pieces and then the part that everyone is wondering about... the wiring...

    stay tuned

the under drive is just a single piece of aluminum correct? i wouldnt recomend runnin them, just from what ive read about them. theres some articles about under drive pulleys and them deleting the stock balancer, which = oil pump failure heres the links

your rad might not last too long. i went with a honda aluminum racing rad and redone the piping..

Nice fab work on the motor & trans mounts.

I've watched some of sasquatch's vids... this dude could fab anything!

Focustiva: Because I was told it was was impossible to fit a Focus bumper on a Festiva.

Just cut the rad mounting brackets and move them over a little bit, just enough to clear the turbo, that would save you from buying a new rad
