    Drove it a little today

Drove the car around in the driveway/yard a little today just to let it drive some since it hadn't drove in a long while, runs a little rough but I'm just happy it's alive again!

Took some better pics of it while it was out of the barn so you can see it better since I can't really get any good pics of it while it's in the barn.

Ran and moved for the first time in a long while today!

swapped out the fuel pressure regulator thanks to some troubleshooting help from eurotiva through PM's, thanks greg! and the car started right up and stays running now, still not 100% but it can move under it's own power again.

Looks nice and rust free under the bumper covers. Still think you've got a solid project car there. Let's see where it goes.
Yeah for the most part it's nice, hopefully I'll build a cooler car than my last

Todays work.. and found out I have some work ahead of me..

    removed the bumpers today

And for the not so good stuff..

While I was removing all the side moldings from the car, when I came to the one on the drivers rear quarter and pulled it off I noticed that some of the paint came with it and then I saw bondo.. lots of bondo So I decided to see how much bondo somebody plastered on this thing and it looks like the whole drivers rear quarter is in need of alot of work to look good again. Theres a bunch of holes drilled in it and the metal is really wavvy/dented. Also found a rusthole on that side. I sure hope this is the only spot thats like this on the car!

I do however have a parts car with good patch panels that should make the repair easier, and I know a few people who could probably weld the patch panels on for me, I'll figure out something.

Haven't made any more progress on the car yet.. (damn weather) But I'm pretty sure I'm going to swap in a B6-E out of a 88-89 323 into the car, and maybe a aspire ATX also, and I'm going to stick with the 89' FI set up.
