ya my axle on the drivers side is a snug fit... im wondering if i made the motor to far over to the drivers side... any shots from over top of the mount? and the mount itself? im having trouble making one... any ideas would help ooo and how did you get the alt to clear?
here is some more pics of the motor and where its sitting... dose that look normal?
mine is right here
Don't get too too far towards the driverside like I did when I swapped the bp into my second car. I couldn't get the lower ball joint into the hub since i had the cv joints on the driverside compressed as far as they would go. I ended up using an aspire lca to space it out so it worked, but had axle popping out on the pass side. I remember you said you had to clearance the driverside rail for the b6, which is unnecessary
coil on plug ignition anyone? im going standalone!!!
HAHAHA had you going for a sec, lol... thats for later when io got and get a haltch or maby ill just sell them...
i just stuck some wire loom over them lol...
seeing as i have nothing else to do untill i get that manifold im getting board thats the only thing thats holding me back, i cant do anything else till i get it
ill update as soon as i make "real" progress on it lol...
I would mod the front sway bar bushing's like this thread shows, and get rid of those brackets and put the stock ones back on, Read what B6T said in that thread..
the header is the factory manifold off of the 95 escort gt motor... the dual windshild washer bottles are for when i go turbo... im gonna put water/meth injection on it so i can run more boost and timinig and get more power but to keep it on the down-low i plan on using that bottle and not the one in the kit, everyone will know then... im even gonna hide the pump down in the bumper/fender... its all about the stelth
