  • ya i know

    im thinking ill put all the parts on a b6d block and use the b6d pistons and run low boost on it, then put it in my parts car and make that a back up car so i can drive that when i put the turbo on zippy but who knows how long that will take lol....

    • the last few weeks i havnt done much to my car other than this...

      Discuss enhancing your Festiva or Aspire interior and exterior (including custom paint, bodywork, seats, etc)


      gave the shifter a bend cause it was to close to the radio....



      i got this oil cap for free with all that b6t stuff but i didnt like the look of the blue...



      gave it some high temp black it adds like 5 hp


      also added some black netting stuff over the spark plug wire cause i didnt like the look of it...


      and last but not least....

      GO CANUCKS!!!!



      in the next couple days i should be picking up the last few parts i need to turbo it

            • Is that a plastic t-stat housing or is it just painted black? Nice fuel filter too. Is it the kind with the stainless mesh you can clean?

                im telling you i use ALOT of that princess auto flat black the t-stat is just painted (can you guess with what :p )

                ya the fuel filter is one of those with the stainless mesh that you can take out and clean...

                • My experience with the high temp flat black is that it starts looking like crap rather quickly. My manifold and a short section of pvc is painted with it on my car.

                      • long overdue update... i have been getting parts and pieces to finaly get the turbo on my car and it should happen soon the only things i need are a wastegate and maybe some little bits of IC piping but if i need that ill go out and buy it...

                        once i get my last pieces in the mail ill start putting it together and get the boost going

                        for engine management i was going to use a megasquirt kit but i went with somthing better, i found a good deal on a microtech LT10S the good thing is that i have a local tuner with TONS of knowlege with these systems http://www.microtechefi.com/microtec...p?product_id=6

                        but untill i get some more pieces and start doing "real" work to getting it boosted ill show you some stuff i have been working on...

                        i sometimes like leaving my radio going while im working at my friends house but they allways mess with my car and move it when im not looking... now they cant unless they push it, and they cant turn the wheel without it locking all i have to is flick a switch and my radio will come on and when i was done wiring it i found out that it also lets my little scrolling thing in the back window work so i can leave that scrolling when i go to the track or somthing lol.... pic of the super hidden switch the wire behind it is the data loger cable for my wideband...


                        changed the battery negative cables to somthing bigger cause the lights where dimming at night when the bass hit lol... looke better too


                        made up a switch panal for the 2step and high/low boost


                        also made this thing... i think it makes the motor look like a EVO motor lol....

                        some of the other stuff got or are gonna use:

                        1G tallon blow off valve (given the special sasquatch porting job done to it... i dont know if it made it better or worse... only time will tell but i think i made it better lol...)

                        randome bits of IC piping and clamps

                        and the rest isnt even worth typing lol...

                        over the next week or so im gonna pull the dash off and start hacking apart the harness to take out unused wires and add in add in wires for gauges and stuff like that so they arnt all over the place in the engine bay... also while im in there ill clean up the alarm system and mount all the boxes on the wall so its not so messy.... its the only thing i half assed on my car and didnt fix it within a week lol...

                        anyways, when more work starts happening ill give another update....

                          • ya im hoping that one muffler will be enough... if not i can put another one at the back

                            i put the intercooler in the bumper today to make sure the piping i got will fit.... fits like a fine italian hand stitched glove and with the blacked out headlights it looks so mean

                            still no new parts shouldnt be long the... or heads will roll :evil4:

                            • I have a 30" single glasspack on mine and it's loud! I may put a smaller glasspack as a resonator and use a muffler on the back.

                              • your N/A right now arnt you? the turbo quiets it down alot cause the fins and housing bounce the sound waves making it quieter... and with the 3" exhaust im gonna be using it should be fine... cant wait to hear what it will sound like
