Went to the junkyard and yanked the Aspire swap. While I was there, I got a set of these! Enkei rims from a Toyota Corolla! So, I did a mock-up. What does everyone think? I got a few replies, but I thought I'd post here 'cause I have been, so, here it is!

You lucky sap. Around here they would of been gone in a second.

I'd do the Aspire swap for those sexy wheels.

              I got tires! Toyo Proxes T1R's. 195/45 R14 @ treadepot.com for $336 shipped.

I swear I'm gonna get all giddy like a school-girl when these things get put together! Now time for the Mother's on the rims. Not on the gold, just the rim.

Oh, I'm considering painting the bumpers red & removing the side strip. Any thoughts?

Hehe, it's actually a Coleman 12v cooler, but now that you mention it, it does look like an old HP!

Be careful how much you use it. They're prone to fan failure and they'll quit without notice if you run it for days on end (trucker) due to the sleeve bearings, I guess... I tried to order from the company (in China) that makes the fan set, but they don't have exact specs or parts numbers. Eventually did an evil thing and exchanged the old one for that one at walmart.

A lot of fans for heat dissipation on computer motherboard use bearing, if it fails again might want to try to adapt one to the pelter device.
Maybe even use a small 12V PV panel to drive the fan(s).
PV to drive the pelter would be too big.
