finally getting to the front aspire swap. as of tonight I have installed aspire struts, knuckles, sway bar and new lower ball joint boots.

the sway bar has been the most difficult part ever to install to my car as of yet. I had to ratchet strap tip-to-tip to get it to fit and then after that getting the mounts installed was horrid!

I am trying to source steering rack boots (with LLW from ORielly's - they're the only ones I know that do LLW) before I get too far involved with finishing everything up. I have new rotors, brakes, and caliper rebuild boots.

now I won't have to carry two spares! lol

So here are some pics from yesterday:









and then some pics from today. I changed out my left headlight with one from the JY and I worked on changing out the OHC dome light with an escort unit but haven't finished it yet. I need to either read a thread on it or look at what Nate did for his. Pics will be posted on that in this thread later. I also got a light for the hatch and that will come later as well. Soon, I think I am going to start stripping the interior so I can get to some of that rust in the floor, oil the seat racks so they'll move hopefully a little easier...and idk, whatever is next I suppose

I might have the dash clock bezel that you need. It came without the metal tabs.
Here is the Kia Pride part number.
Please let me know if the Festiva clock delete plate tabs can be transferred. I don't have one to compare. Does anyone know if the holes look like they are in the same position?

so today I disassembled the B6 I carried last month as seen here:

the pistons are still seized and I'm going to wait for some more help so I don't damage the pistons. Some bad news...whoever rebuilt the engine snapped the lobe in the head where the key holds the cam in place. Technically the bolts hold this in place but I'm not a fan.
