I Don't write alot here, but i love looking at everyone's festivas and looking at all the custom work done to them. i bought a yellow 91 festiva a few months back, and quickly did the aspire brake swap, front sway bar too. i cut the springs in the car and haven't done alot to it since. i got the donor car i needed for my b6t swap.it is a 89 323 with a turbo engine swap. This car has had a ton of work done to it. It has a freshly rebuilt b6t from a gtx, the g25mr from an 88 323gt, custom header, 2.5 inch exhaust, reich racing ecu, aem wideband, turbo xs bov, big front mount, greddy turbo timer, manual boost controller, short shifter, stage 3 clutch, K&N cone filter and 3 inch intake piping. The car has a vj11 turbo with bad seals, i am gonna ship it off to be rebuilt. the car has front and rear strut bars and also has the digital gauges i really want the gauges in my festiva. i know a few people have put the 323 gt cluster in a festiva, has anyone put the digital ones in? The car has the gtx wings and the gtx wheels as well.i paid 3000 for the car and can't wait to put the motor and tranny into my festiva. i bought some yellow and black racing seats a while back, havent put them into the festiva yet. i got a great deal both seats, sliders and two 4 point harness's 150 bucks. . Im kinda new here and thought i should start a build thread. i also thought i should say a little something about myself. My name is Kenny Bender, im an auto body student. im 19 and i like slurpees. when i go back to school in the fall im taking all the dents out of the festiva and painting the car yellow. Thanks For looking at my festiva project everyone here is the best.

Considering what you paid and the fact that you still want to rebuild it, I would keep the 323 in tact and look for a BP to turbo or a B6t Capri that you could ship from somewhere in the states and still be within the price range. If you do take the motor/trans, at least leave the rest of the car together and sell it to someone who can put a BP or a KLDZ or something in it and save a piece of Mazda performance history! I would think you should be able to get at least $1500 for the car, less the motor.
