  • my 93L project

this is going to be a slow moving project as the wife only lets me have $100 every 2 weeks to put into the car.

i bought it 2 weeks ago for $700 with 200k on the clock and an aspire swap. so im told, i will get pics so you guys can help me i.d. the motor.

anyways, the first thing i did was get a new windshield installed, then today i replaced the axles.

so since they axles were already out......

    i pulled the struts and.......

cut 2 coils off the front, heres how it looks, tomorrow i will cut 1 1/2 off the rear
if i wanted a hummer.......i'd ask your wife!

Good thing parts are cheap for these cars

2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

If it does have an Aspire swap, that changes your lug pattern to 4x100, so if your looking for wheels remember that.

O, are you talking about an Aspire engine swap. I was thinking Aspire brake swap.

The axles wouldn't be any different if it had an aspire swap, suspension probably wouldn't be different either. The aspire swap consists of hub/spindle/rotors/calipers up front and entire rear beam with drums/hub in rear
