  • Grm 2011 festiva build

    So I am going to try and build a festiva for the 2011 grassroots motorsports challenge. I started some of the body work yesterday and going to keep at it as long as it is warm out. The car is a 1993 festiva 5speed. I will have pic up as soon as I can. Still not sure what kind of motor I am going to put in the festiva but that will have to wait till a little later. If any one has any tips I could use all the help I can get.
    Thanks
    P.s here is a like to there site grassrootsmotorsports.com

      Or a KLZE swap :evil4::evil4:

      1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
      1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
      2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

      1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

      If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

                  you could do a KLDE for less than $2011

                  Just get a donor car for $300 like I did... and get resourceful with your parts.

                    I think the 2009 car was sold on here not that long ago.

                    1993 Festiva L, aspire swapped, selling parts for a BP+T build.

                        PM him. He might still be active and check in.

                        Is this bracket racing? It might be better to do like the stock auto tranny and a steaked BP. From what I understand the stock auto tranny is actually pretty robust.

                          There are three diff kinds of racing in the grm and my car will have to do drag, autocross, and lap timing. I don't know what motor I am going with but it would prob be eather a b8, or a bp. I already have coilovers for it and the aspire swap and sway bar from the aspire I got over the summer.

                            Yeah an auto would be pointless then. What coilovers do you have?
