Nice car, Gestiva! So cleeeeeeeeeeeeean! How'd you get that transaxle so clean??

The tranny, or the axles?

Either way, lol. I cleaned and degreased the trans,motor,vc,vaf,etc..
Then I sprayed them with high temp motor paint to make them look new
and also show where any leaks are so fixing will be cleaner.

Oh, I see! I cleaned and cleaned my transaxle (correct name for a FWD transmission) but it was so dirty and stained that only sandblasting, alien chemicals, or PAINTING would get it like yours.

^When I cleaned it, It didnt look bad at all.
I just had the paint and was bored, I really like the way it came out too.

Coilovers! Needs tweaking, But handles/rides Amazing!

I got the coilovers down to the lowest setting.
In the rear Because of the plastic tophats I had to reverse the
original spacers which make the rear sit inch or so higher for now.
With my FULL jumping up and down weight on the rear bumper there is only about a inch of travel, HaHa, These things are stiff!, But they arnt harsh riding.....

Tonight Im installing:
White faced tach
CD player
Removing rear plastics for painting
adjusting the coilovers.
and going to vaccum the interior when Im done.

Well, The rain wouldnt stop so I only got the tach cluster installed, and took a few pix.
Also installed VC gasket, But still blowing oil!!! lol..,. As soon as I make enough Im gonna pull engine and do all the seals!

Tach cluster only has 115,000 miles!

i LOVE the stance of your festiva!!! looks awesome, i wish mine sat that nice... but any lower and i have NO suspension left lol... i need some "proper" coilovers to get it lower and i think it will help with the traction right now it just shakes like heck when i spin...

Radio installed

^^^Thanks for the comments, Im slowly installing stuff while I earn money to put in new clutch...

Today I installed the radio out of my Miata, that I put into my BP car
now in my green car, lol.
I also installed my new radio bezel(makes the whole thing look better)

I sold it today to a member here who has wanted a festy for a long time!

I wasnt going to do much more to it, so I decided to sell it to him so he can drive it....

I am getting another 93gl next week, so I didnt need 3 festys(would have been nice though)

How did you install the front coil overs? Reason I ask is it looks like you got the exact same ones I have and it doesn't sit that low in the front. The rear, though, sits about the same.

I ordered the tires from Ebay.

I ordered These- MEXX GRIP VTR304 tires -- 175/60/13

But got these- 175/60-13 FEDERAL Formoza FD1 77H BSW

I paid $161+$23 shipping

i cant find either of these tires on ebay or google shopping

Basicly, I just replaced the "stock" spring with the sleeve/spring I got on ebay.
Thats it!
