  • MINIGUN hood... 2.0

After cutting welding and doing the body work on MINIGUNS hood I found this Ford Factory part. It arrived in the mail today and I layed it on a factory festiva hood. Looks like it will be a perfect fit once I cut out the hood for it. I have a flanging tool so I can make it sit flush. Ill install it on a stock hood this weekend and see how it comes out.

Oh by the way its a 2010 Shelby GT500 Mustang hood Insert

How well does it fit width wise? either way with the design you've started with for the hood, that vent should suit nicely to the style

        1988 323 Station Wagon - KLG4 swapped
        1988 323 GT - B6T Powered
2008 Ford Escape - Rollover Survivor

1990 Festiva - First Ever Completed KLZE swap (SOLD)

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

          Cost was $ 57 ( new ) with free shipping !

The width is just a fraction of an inch narrower then the crown lines on the hood, so it other words it fits right in the middle of the flat spot of the hood and follow the curve of the hood rather well.

Its 32" x 7.5" if anyone wants to go out and measure a hood

The color will stay flat black and I'll use the same pattern mesh on the bummper cut outs and grill
