Yeah, I would have liked for the holes I cut to be a bit more snug around the bars, but I think I did alright for just eyeballing it and cutting! Not to mention my dremel was doa so I had to use a drill and razorblade to do the cutting!

You could have brought them up here. You know I have a vast assortment of implements of destruction

i thought that car had the rear plate mount inside the hatch with a plexi glass cover? or did that change with the re-paint?

          Either way, looks great!! :thumbright:

Yeah it did (actually almost everything is still in place), but Logan bondoed over the plexi before painting it and just had the license plate mounted over it. The area where it was bondoed looks pretty rough and is cracking all the way around so I might eventually return it to the way it was

Wow. Such a sweet ride. Nice work. I really like the idea of the license plate bolts, I'd have gladly gonna for those when trying to get those rusted screws off to access my plate lights with my first Festiva.

That's a good lookin' ride, but I have a problem with that filler cap location. Get a bicycle innertube and some electrical tape and cover that wiring! I don't want your car burning to the ground because you splashed some fuel on the wires. Lovin' that bumper, dude.

There's only so much I can do with the wires without making them too stiff and preventing the taillight from closing properly. That's an old pic anyway......I just put everything back into place today....

And just for fun and because I had the stuff laying around, I did up some woodgrain roll cage!

                        Haha!

Fuel pump wires are submerged in gas...I wouldn't worry.

Everything is looking great, glad someone with better car skills than me could take it back towards the cool car it used to be. Love the roof liner and rear plastics you put in!

Thanks! I'm really just having fun with it, like I did with the hulk. All of it is still pretty much a learning process at this point. Wait till you see the wheels!
