Love the work..
Sorry for my ignorance .. Cause there was so much reading..
but was the crossmember lowered or firewall notched to fit the transfer case under the car or was it a straight fit under the Festiva?
I was also thinking is there any chance of a gtx fueltank fitting under the car still or would the prop shaft graze it running through the middle of the car?

okay so a quick update since I've been slacking bad on the build thread. I got all my fuel lines installed, fuel pump and fuel cell installed. then on the engine side of things, I ended up buying a manual bp throttle body so that I can retain the 3 wire tps untill I go turbo. I got that installed and everything hooked up. turned the key and it fired right up!! idled perfectly. then I noticed that there was oil everywhere and so I shut the engine off. my stupid mistake was that by engine is a bpt with out a turbo and my oil feed and coolant return lines were open. so I had to order the bolts to block them off. ordered from Mazda and they costed me 50.00 shipped ....ouch. where I stand now is Im waiting to get me radiator back from fabtech there working on moving the outlet to the side for me since I don't have the resources to tig weld. went out the other day and tryed to fire it up to see if it would and ive lost all spark fuel and fuel inj pulse so I'm now waiting on a distributor to come in that I ordered.
things that need done.
1. install radiator
2. make intake
3. install block off bolts
4. install carbon hood, and grill
5. take to get exhaust put on
6. 4 wheel alignment
7. test drive.Last edited by daniel_cogar; 04-13-2013, 10:12 AM.

I've been working a lot recently and haven't had time to tinker, with drill coming up this week I wont be able to work on it then either. So tonight I made the fuel cell straps and finished the mounting process. just have to order some stainless hose and some fittings.
