            • Looking good Mike. What's the goal? 300 hp? I've torn up 2 bp's but 1 was oil pump, the other broke a valve and it fell into the motor at 7k.

Loving that downpipe and the location of the wg.

for now im gonna take it easy... i think 10~12 psi should give me 180~220hp... maybe as high as 15 psi, we will see... i wanna have some fun with it, im sick of wrenching on it... and my wallet is sick of paying for parts for it... the only thing i wanna spend money on right now is gas and tires... and i got a bunch of spare tires in my shop that i can burn off

ya im happy with the way the down pipe came out... hows your exhaust comming along?

                      then put on the trans...

and got my valve cover done

                        • have you ever thought of throwing in a boundary engineering pump or an aftermarket harmonic balancer?

                          • So far the only aftermarket one off the shelf is an ATI but it will require a lot of unibody mods and it will require the engine to be pulled to install and remove it since the timing gear is built in.

We are doing some market research for a fluid type damper at work that will bolt on with 4 bolts like the OEM for large nose cranks. It will be a dual 4 rib, which still means frame cutting and boxing for us though.

ID rather Notch and re-fabricate the frame rail once then destroy a fancy engine.

I had a buddy with a 600whp 1.9L bp, skipped out on the dampener and send 2 rods out of the block, it was spectacular to see on the highway!!!!!!

                              • So your buddy built a an engine with approximately 300hp/L and didn't balance it?

I have a feeling the rods through the block weren't from vibration damage...
