  • My new car!

This thread shall hold all documentation of my build/ restoration of this festiva.

    Story: "She's home!"

So, I bought this car a few months ago from a guy named James. James contacted me through a wanted post I made on craigslist. I paid $400 for this beast, and then it sat. I had no way to get it home, and my mom was having a fit over the car's condition. I finally convinced her to let me have it, but in return, it had to go in the backyard. I got it towed, and pushed it through the park behind our house to the yard. After this, I replaced the fence I had torn down, and went to bed. Today, it rained, but I managed to go out and snap a few pictures when it calmed down a bit.

take care of the rot first, inspect by using a flat tipped screwdriver and tapping or pushing on suspect areas.

I'm only 17, so that justifies making stupid decisions for a project car. My friend just about laughed himself to tears when he saw the thing I was asking him to help me push. I had to ask my spectator neighbor for assistance getting it over the bump into my yard, so he lifted the back end up and told us to push, lol.

Oh, just so you guys know, there is only 1 panel on the entire car without rust on it (front passenger side fender).
