  • Rotten Apple Build B6t 88L

I thought I would start my thread since the last time I attempted to do a swap I didnt have the time or space. This time I have the time to do the swap not like last time. I was busy with buying a house, doing lots a repairs and I sold all of my stuff, but I just found me a 91 xr2 I will be buying and driving home tomorrow when I get off work. I picked it up for 700cash dude said it has 160,000 miles on it and that it runs nice ill find out on the drive home if he was lying to me or not. here some pics

My plan is to buy parts to fully freshen up the motor and get the head ported and polished. upgrade the turbo(haven't decided on a turbo yet) and some other goodies. This will be a on going project and I want to have the swap done and ready to race by march. Its going to be painted red with black wheels stay tuned........

X3!! I'd drive the heck out of that one and look for more of a beater as a donor car. That one is SWEET.

I will be using the front brake for sure as for the rears that would be sweet to convert who knows I may take a shot at it.

Pfft, I'll be working on 294mm rotors soon, which is like 10.8" or something like that

If no one from the future stops you from doing it, how bad of a decision can it really be?

That capri is way too nice to cut up!! No rust, the body looks straight as hell, custom wheels & paint, the side trim has been shaved! It also has leather seats??!? possibly from a 94 XR2 - rare as hell. If you are hell bent on a b6t swap, sell this one for $2k+ & use the money to buy another donor

In the meantime come join us at TeamCapri

EDIT: It also has custom door panels, front lip bodykit, and a cloth top. Someone dumped major $$$ into that thing. You got the steal of a century

So I drove her home last night and she runs better then I expected, need brakes, shocks, wheel bearings, and the interior is pretty bad the shifter is sloppy as hell and the clutch is slipping.
