Alright Lets do this B6T Swap!!!!

Hello everyone!! Last week my car decided to spring an oil leak as I was driving 70 to work and drain all the motor oil all over the engine compartment. Oh and apparently a good time to find out the oil idiot light doesn't work so when I slowed down I could hear the lifters ticking like crazy and It wouldn't Idle at all missing like crazy burning oil like crazy. So I'm taking this as it's my cars way of saying that its ready for a new mill under the hood.

I've got a B6T that I got from Hot_Wheels which is still amazingly together after the wreck I got in about 2 hours after I picked it up from him. Some kid speeding slammed into the back of my goose neck and totaled my Trailer and Truck. This kid most have been flying like crazy. He broke the beaver tail off the back and broke the ball out of the bed of my truck, broke the steering column and put the fan on my Cummins diesel through the radiator!!! Anyway I had a B3 and a B6T and a John Deere AW on the trailer and it broke all my chains but the one holding the B6T on, Thank God!!

The car is nothing spectacular, Just a work in progress. It has saved me so much money. I hope to take lots of pictures and I will probably have multiple questions through the process. So bear with me and let me know what you think!!

Congrats on that start! Another B6t:p One thing I will say is that clean the engine bay while you have the engine out. I really wish I had done it.

What tranny are you going to be using?

It has a G25MR from a capri, I was just wanting to make sure I understand this right, I would like to do the aspire swap for the brakes so I can use the aspire axles with the G25MR? I only have 1 axle . Thanks.

You can't use aspire axles with the g25mr. They have to be out of the capri xr2 or 323 gt. The aspire swap will work with the these axles.

Well, I got the motor pulled out today and the engine compartment cleaned. Drove down to my dads to get the motor and brought it home. I also Drilled the hole in the fire wall for the wiring harness.

That one axle I gave you is a xr2 axle, it just needs a new boot, you will also need the jack shaft. Fuel pump?

The Jack shaft is the other axle? I only have the one axle that needs the new boots. I'm Going to get the aspire swap stuff today. How's the red car coming? Will the stock fuel pump work?

i think you might be able to use the stock pump but im not 100% sure. for the axles theres 3 parts, 2 axles and the uber rare jack shaft. I think someone on here was just selling a jack shaft recently. if not theres a capri in a junkyard by me, i just dont have any time at the moment.
