Just wondering how much an Aspire sway bar improves handling on a Festiva on 12's...and...how much stopping may improve with an Aspire master cylinder and booster on a Festiva ?
    Thanks,
    Tex

I can't comment outright on the torsion bar arrangement on the back frame but the front stablilizer/sway bar made a huge difference on my Festy. There is almost twice as much steel in an Aspire bar VS Festy (7/8 diameter Festy and 1 1/16 Aspire). Body roll on corners diminishes considerably.

I did not swap the master brake cylinder when the Aspire parts went in and I haven't felt that piece of laziness compromised anything. The resulting brakes are way better than the originals already.

I guess that's what I meant. There were too many pipes and hoses in the way (the donor Aspire had ABS and power steering) for me to figure on trying to retrieve the booster drum (along with the master cylinder) in an efficient manner. Plus numerous previous posters said they didn't bother either.
